1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Accorda (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Accorda does (and does not do)

Accorda is a documentation and tracking platform designed to help lenders and borrowers manage private loans with clarity. Accorda does not provide loans, banking services, money transmission, credit checks, debt collection services, or legal, tax, or financial advice.

Any loan terms, schedules, amounts, and documents created or stored in the Service are provided by users. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us promptly.

5. User content and loan data

You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service (“User Content”), including loan information and documents. You grant Accorda a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have all rights needed to upload and share User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

6. Prohibited use

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or bypass security.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through automated scraping or abusive traffic.
  • Misrepresent your identity, role, or authority in a loan or agreement.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Some features may require payment (such as subscriptions or credit-based usage). Pricing and plan details are presented at checkout or within the Service. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support promptly and include relevant details.

8. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (for example, payment processors). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and Accorda is not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACCORDA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Accorda does not guarantee that repayment schedules, calculations, or records will meet your requirements. You should independently verify loan terms and any calculations that matter for decision-making.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACCORDA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACCORDA’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ACCORDA FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Accorda from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, or posed a security risk.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
